Critical Thinking Video

This is a video about critical thinking.  It is 40 minutes long, and the narrator sounds kind of smarmy, but it is filled with some great information!  Check it out… or else.

Good stuff.  What surprised you?  Do you disagree with anything he said?

Hey, I’m Robbie from Monday’s 10:00 discussion class.
Some of these superstitions sure are hard to justify! They seem to rely solely on feelings and anecdotal evidence rather than on logic.

Hey, it’s Al Willsey from the Tuesday 10am discussion.
I rather liked this video, even though some of his claims seemed to be based more off of his own bias toward these “pseudo sciences” rather than him wanting to do anything about it. I would agree that this 40 minute video was smarmy in that regard.
Although it was still interesting for me to watch. I already agreed with many of his claims before watching the video and that kept me hooked through it. And even though some of the claims are hard to justify it still presented a new perspective on dozens of different pop-culture subjects.
I’m glad I stumbled upon it here.
